Stop the bombings, Tompolo begs Avengers again

Former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, today, called on the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, yet again to halt the ongoing bombing of oil and gas installations in the Niger Delta region.

Tompolo, in a statement, Saturday, said: “I wish to once again write the members of the Niger Delta Avengers to embrace the Federal Government dialogue option as a way out of the brewing crisis in the Niger Delta region. As I have said before now, I do not know you and how to reach you except through the mass media, therefore it is high time you stopped the bombing and destruction of crude oil facilities in the Niger Delta region.”

Shuaibu Amodu Buried As Son Reveals Last Moments

Abdul-Aziz Amodu, who is  the eldest son of the late technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amodu Shuaibu, revealed his last moments with his father who passed on Saturday in Benin, Edo State.

The 26-year-old graduate from Igbinedion University, Okada, told journalists in Benin shortly after the burial of his late father that his last conversation with his father before the former Nigeria coach's death was on Friday morning, when they discussed plans for the National Youth Service Corps programme later this month.
