Andy Murray celebrates 29th birthday by beating Novak Djokovic in Italian Open final

Andy Murray marked his 29th birthday in style by beating Novak Djokovic on clay for the first time in his career, in the final of the Italian Open.
The Scot dispatched of the world number one in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, in a confidence-boosting victory ahead of the French Open.

Murray broke Djokovic's serve once in the first set and twice in the second to take victory in just over an hour and a half.
It means he will return to second in the world rankings ahead of the first Grand Slam of the year on May 22.
The win gave Murray some revenge for his Madrid Open final defeat against the same opponent last week.
Djokovic complained the umpire that the light rain in Rome was making the surface too dangerous just prior to Murray's third break of the contest.
He then served a double fault to hand victory to birthday boy Murray.
