While parading the suspect, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni , described Wasiu Akinwade as “the kingpin of a criminal gang that has been terrorising Mushin, Oshodi and its environs and has been involved in the murder of several persons in the past.” Suspect’s account Denying the allegation, Wasiu Akinwade said: “If two factions are fighting, there will be allegations here and there. If I am lying, may I not get out of it, by the grace of God. “I did not kill the teenager you talked about. I don’t know anything about it.”
