Whitney Houston Personal Items Have Been Set For Auction

The auction will see personal items of the late singer, since she quit being a back up singer for Chaka Khan and Lou Rawls sold off.

The personal items of late American singer, Whitney Houston, including her wedding dress will be sold at an auction set to hold by the end of June 2016.

According to Garry Shrum, a director of Entertainment and Music Memorabilia at Heritage Auctions, Houston's personal items will span the period when she left as a background singer for Chaka Khan and Lou Rawls.

The auction will be held on Friday, June 24 - 25, 2016, in Beverly Hills.

"[It's] basically a retrospective of Whitney from the beginning, from when she first started singing after she left being a background singer for Chaka Khan and Lou Rawls," Shrum said.

Us Magazine reported that the most valuable of all the items is her "elaborate Marc Bouwer wedding ensemble, which includes a form-fitting lace dress with beaded embellishments and a fishtail hemline, matching opera gloves and an ornate headpiece with a tiered veil".

The singer was said to have had it on for her wedding with music legend, Bobby Brown, who she had a dramatic relationship with.

Their child, Kristina Bobby Brown, is now deceased after suspicion on drowning.
