Manchester United open talks with Bordeaux sensation Adam Ounas

Adam Ounas is one of the highest rated youngsters in Europe

Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with French wonderkid Adam Ounas with a view to moving to Old Trafford this summer.

The 19-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest prospects in the last 12 months and the attacking midfielder’s already represented France at U20 level.

The Bordeaux star scored six goals in 28 Ligue 1 appearances last term and, though United would rather the midfielder stayed with the club to develop further, they are wary of losing out to a European rival.

Bordeaux are reluctant to let go of the teenager but, according to the Daily Mirror, United have opened talks with Ounas’ representatives and believe a large offer could prise him away from France.

United executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, has told Mourinho that no player is off limits this summer and has handed the 53-year-old an initial £200m transfer kitty to get the Red Devils challenging again.
