Arsene Wenger has admitted he is a huge admirer of Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Arsenal boss said: “I think he will play in the European Championships and for me he was one of the players of the year in the Premier League.”
Wenger is among a clutch of Premier League bosses keen on signing the title-winning midfielder, 25, this summer. But he refused to disclose whether he has already made a move.
He added: “I cannot tell you anything now. He is under contract with Leicester. I am sure if Leicester want to sell him, they will find some buyers.”
Chelsea and Manchester City also have Kante in their sights.
