Britain's Got Talent 2016: Semi-finalists revealed

Two Merseyside hopefuls have joined Britain's Got Talent golden buzzer acts Beau Dermott and Boogie Storm in the semi-finals.

Chloe Fenton, 10, from Old Swan, and Jack Higgins, 14, from Childwall, both won places in the live shows, which take place each night from tomorrow.

Thousands applied and hundreds auditioned for the celebrity judges.

And the few who received three or more yeses were whittled down to 40 - plus five golden buzzer acts - in tonight's final audition show.

Chloe and Jack will now perform in the semi-finals along with Widnes singer Beau - who was fast-tracked through by Amanda Holden when BGT returned for a 10th anniversary series in April.
They join Liverpool's Star Wars-inspired dance act Boogie Storm, who were Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act.

The dancing Stormtroopers, dancers Chloe and Jack, and singer Beau are all hoping to win the public vote and secure an all-important place in next weekend's live final.

They have a chance of winning a life-changing £250,000 and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.
