Oxlade-Chamberlain out of Euro 2016
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of the Euros after being sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed the England forward has “no chance” of making the tournament and is set to return in July.
The Frenchman said: “We have lost Chamberlain during the week, he will be out for six to eight weeks.
“I’m very sad because he was quite sharp and physically ready. He looked sharp in training last week. He was planned to play on Tuesday night but he got injured on Monday morning.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has not played for the Gunners since February’s 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the last-16 of the Champions League.
He has made 22 appearances in the top flight this season, scoring just once.
