In Paris Teenager live streams her own suicide on Periscope [Video]

The unidentified teenager who is of French descent is reported to have filmed her suicide as she threw herself underneath a commuter train in the suburban Egly station, south of Paris.

In what may seem to be one of the strangest happenings yet, a teenager had live streamed her suicide via a popular app called Periscope.
The unidentified teenager who is of French descent is reported to have filmed her suicide as she threw herself underneath a commuter train in the suburban Egly station, south of Paris.

New York Posts reports that the teen whose identity is yet to be revealed, had sent a text message to a friend of her ex boyfriend a few hours before she had committed suicide.
The reports reveal that the text message had revealed the violence and rape her ex had inflicted on her, claiming that she would be ending her life because of the harm the young man had done to her.

She says:
"The video I am doing right now is not made to create the buzz but rather to make people react, to open the minds, and that’s it."
During the disturbing video, viewers can be seen encouraging the teen to carry out her threats of suicide, albeit in French.
The teen had spent over two hours on Periscope, divided into five live sessions where she talks about her life as well as her difficult relationship with her ex.
The video has since been pulled down from Periscope but YouTube users have posted what they describe as excerpts which do not include the suicide itself.
May her soul rest in peace.
