The 'Teen Wolf' star told Entertainment Weekly about the "terminal anxiety" that plagued him as he continued to hide his sexuality and acting someone else.

Colton Haynes has finally come out as gay after months of speculations.
His announcement comes five months after his co-star Charlie Carver confirmed he is gay in an Instagram post in January.
The 'Teen Wolf' star told Entertainment Weekly about the "terminal anxiety" that plagued him as he continued to hide his sexuality and acting someone else.
"People want you to be that GQ image that you put out, but people don’t realize what it’s like to act 24 hours a day. I’d go home and I was still acting," Colton explained.
"People who are so judgmental about those who are gay or different don’t realize that acting 24 hours a day is the most exhausting thing in the world," he continued.
The 27-year-old actor set the Internet abuzz in January when he responded to a fan’s Tumblr post about his secret gay past. "Was it a secret?” he simply asked back.
The sentence was interpreted as a read-between-the-lines for the Internet. To many, it was his official coming out. But, it wasn’t — and it's something the actor regrets in part for "letting people down by not coming forward."
