Against the backdrop of current of explosion of major oil installations in the Niger Delta region, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday evening met with many stakeholders.
Amongst them were the Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Siereke Dickson, the Amayanabo of Toun Brass, Bayelsa State, King Alfred Diete-Spiff in the company of the representatives of major oil firms which included Shell, Total, AGIP, NLNG and Chevron among others.
Before the meeting with the Bayelsa governor, the Vice President had first met with some security chiefs from Navy and Army, the the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, and some other officials of government.
Meanwhile, the meeting with Dickson and Bayelsa chief was still ongoing.
