The abductors of the Kwara chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. Ishola Balogun- Fulani and the party’s secretary, Chief Bode Adekanye have demanded N50 million naira ransom.
The kidnappers made the demand Friday night when they allowed the APC chiefs to speak with their family members. Balogun- Fulani and Adekanye were kidnapped on Friday while returning to Ilorin from Abuja.
A close aide of Adekanye confirmed this development on Saturday in Ilorin yesterday.
He disclosed that they offered to pay the abductors N10 million which they accepted.
“In fact, our people are on their ways to Okene- Lokoja axis for a possible location of the abductors’ hideout with a view to paying the ransom and securing the release of our Chairman and secretary”, he said.
