She told Azuka Ogujiuba of This Day that her former manager and husband was receiving 40% of her performance fee which is one of its kind in the Nigerian Music Industry.
She described a recent happening that led to his dismissal on being her manager. This situation happened in London where she was supposed to perform at a wedding and client didn’t pay before her performance which is contrary to the company’s rule.
After so much back and forth between Tiwa and Company’s accountant who stated that no payment has been made, Tee Billz persuaded her to just perform and that they would sort out the payment later.
Curious Tiwa went on to confide in one of the wedding organisers who revealed to her that they paid her performance fee four months ago. After research, it was found out that the money wasn’t paid into the company’s account but into TeeBillz personal account which she referred to as Fraud and Stealing.
